Born in Portland, Oregon.
Victoria Brooks pursued her love of art through college by earning her Graphic Design degree at Portland Community College and Portland State University (Oregon). After her long career as an art director and designer, she resumed her studies in fine art oil painting an additional four years at the California Art Institute. She has also participated in many workshops.
Victoria began her career as a broadcast graphic designer with KOIN-TV, the CBS affiliate in Portland, Oregon where she remained for nearly five years. Her next position brought her to Universal City, California where she became a graphic designer for Group W Productions, a major television syndication company. Again, after nearly five years, she was offered the position of Graphics Director at Filmation Studios, a major animation company, where she remained two years.
Having received numerous national awards for broadcast art she decided to pursue her true love of art in impressionistic style oils, which she now does full-time. She enjoys teaching painting classes, workshops and is a popular demonstrator at art leagues.
